Three kilometers earns one pint.

A pint is 500ml and ~200 calories. One kilometer of running burns ~75 calories (for a 75kg runner). Do the math: three kilometers on the legs balances one pint on the bar. Honest trade, zero guilt.

Cycling counts half.

Six kilometers on the bike = one pint. We know. The cyclists will complain. They always do. Take it up with thermodynamics β€” pedalling burns about half the calories of running per kilometer.
